Many people want to bypass these provocative words from Jesus because they seem to imply that we are to allow people to just beat the tar out of us and not resist physical violence and injury. Last night the temperature was around freezing.  For those who live in colder climates; you are well aware of how quickly the change from rain to snow can take when temps are around the freezing mark.  One minute it’s raining and the next you have snow.  It’s a beautiful event and rare when it happens especially in November.  Alas, it’s still too warm for the snow to stay, but in due time it’ll be here to until at least early April.  So for now, I’ll enjoy the temps and wait for the time when flurry’s will fly and snowbanks grow high.

The neighborhood

Why is it that in every neighborhood you always have a weird and angry senior citizen? I of couse have one that lives next door to me. This guy claims to own some of my property and every spring he starts in driving across my lawn. Does anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this? This guy just doesn’t have a connection with reality. His solution to removing a sofa is to cut it up. The guy’s own wife can’t stand him… but that generation just doesn’t divorce. I feel so sorry for the wife. I can’t imagine living with such a miserable person.
